Shots Fired Investigation, 10 Firearms Seized 

November 27, 2023 - Kern County Sheriff's Office officials report that on November 26, 2023, at about 5:00 p.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the North Area Substation were dispatched to the 800 block of Bussell Road to investigate reports of shots fired involving a pickup truck.

Deputies located the vehicle and contacted the driver, REESE REYNOLDS, age 22. Deputies determined REYNOLDS was in possession of an illegal assault rifle equipped with a suppressor. During their investigation, Deputies seized a total of 10 firearms. 

REYNOLDS was arrested and booked into jail for weapons violations.
