The Mariposa Lion's Club 21st Annual Bon Fire and Christmas Tree Lighting was held on a gorgeous Saturday evening, December 11, 2010. Santa arrived in a firetruck that was all decked out in bright lights. Many cups of hot chocolate along with popcorn and hot dogs were handed out during the evening by the Lions Club members. Of course the traditional bon fire was blazing away as Santa with the help of Mrs. Claus listened to the whispers of the many children about what they would like for Christmas as they scampered onto Santa's lap.
