May 24, 2024 - Madera County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) officials report on Friday, May 24, 2024 shortly before 10:30 A.M., the Madera County Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call requesting medical assistance at a residence in the 42000 block of Shady Lane in Oakhurst.

When deputies and emergency personnel arrived on scene, they located an adult male who was subsequently pronounced deceased.

Detectives are currently investigating this case as a homicide.
