May 25, 2024 – Fresno Police Department officials report that the department is asking for assistance on the 2015 murder of 21-year-old Deondre Howard.  

Howard was fatally shot in the early morning hours of August 29, 2015, in the area of Charles Avenue and Emerson Avenue. Howard was outside with another family member when an armed suspect approached and opened fire. Howard was fatally wounded, and the second male survived his injuries.  Howard was a standout athlete at Edison High School where he played baseball and football.  

The Fresno Police Department and the family of Deondre Howard are asking for the public’s assistance with any information on this case.  

@valleycrimestoppersfresno is offering a $3,000 reward for information.
