July 9, 2024 – Mariposa County Library invites you to share your travel story during Story Hour for Grown-Ups. 

Do you have a travel story to share? Want to share it in an air-conditioned, supportive environment? Join us this Thursday, July 11 from 5:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at the Mariposa Library for this month's "Story Hour for Grown-Ups," with our exuberant guest host Tom Arfsten.

This month, in keeping with our summer reading theme of "Around the World in 60 Days," we are inviting YOU to share your travel story. If you have a story to share and would like to be included on our guest lineup, please email: abby.miller@mariposalibrary.org. You are also welcome to bring objects or photos from your travels to share.

You can share a tale, or just sit back, relax and enjoy being an armchair traveler while listening to your neighbors describe their adventures (or misadventures). Blank postcards will also be available for decorating while you listen.

We hope that Mariposa Storytelling group, who regularly swap stories at The Alley on the third Thursday of each month, may be persuaded to join us for this special story hour. All community members are welcome, including first time storytellers!
