prescribed burn, when weather permits, during the week of November 4. Burning will take place on the Grupe Ranch located on Oak Grove Road near Stripped Rock Creek.
The burn will consist of burning 307 acres of annual grass, oak woodland and sparse brush and will help to improve rangelands by promoting annual grasses, reduce fuel loading and ladder fuels.
Smoke may be visible from the communities of Bootjack and Ponderosa Basin.
