TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Control for November 3-9, 2024
November 1, 2024 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
• One-way traffic control at Watt Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, November 4, through Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Harris Road to Stumpfield Mountain Road for drainage work beginning Monday, November 4, through Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
• Long-term one-way traffic control on eastbound SR-140 from 6th Street to SR-49 North for crosswalk construction beginning Thursday, October 31, at 9:00 p.m. continuing through Monday, November 4, 2024, at 8:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Sunday, November 3, through Monday, November 4, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday, November 5, through Friday, November 8, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues
