TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Control for November 17-23, 2024
November 16, 2024 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-49 (SR-49), SR-132, and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
• One-way traffic control from Harris Road to Stumpfield Mountain Road for drainage work beginning Monday, November 18, through Friday, November 22, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control at the Road Back to Old Highway for utility work on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Shilling Road to Crown Lead Road for shoulder work beginning Wednesday, November 20, through Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 132
• One-way traffic control from the Mariposa/Tuolumne County Line to Hayward Road for utility work on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
• Long-term one-way traffic control on eastbound SR-140 from to 7th Street to SR-49 South for crosswalk construction beginning Thursday, November 21, at 7:00 p.m. continuing through to Monday, November 25, 2024, at 6:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Sunday, November 17, through Friday, November 22, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to Yosemite National Park for pavement work beginning Monday, November 18, through Thursday, November 21, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Thursday, November 21, through Friday, November 22, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
