Caltrans traffic advisoryTRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control for December 22-28, 2024 

December 19, 2024 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route 49 (SR-49), and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows: 

STATE ROUTE 49 

  • One-way traffic control from Harris Road to Stumpfield Mountain Road for drainage work beginning Monday, December 23, through Tuesday, December 24, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 STATE ROUTE 140 

  • One-way traffic control from State Route 49 South to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Friday, December 20, Saturday, December 21, through Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. 

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
