January 4, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that Northwest Bike Officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation in the area of Polk Avenue & Fairmont Avenue. The driver initially provided a false name, but officers were able to determine his identity. He was found to be on probation for domestic violence against a dependent adult or disabled person and on parole for felony burglary. Officers completed a probation search of his residence, where they contacted additional subjects, one being on parole for felony evading. During the search, officers located a stolen revolver, brass knuckles, narcotics and paraphernalia, ammunition, and a knife. 

The driver was arrested for his parole violation and for giving a false ID to a police officer. The second male was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, ammunition, brass knuckles, concealed dirk or daggers, receiving stolen property, possession of narcotics, and his parole violation. They both were booked into Fresno County Jail.
