Deputies Arrest Home Invasion Robbery Suspects
January 4, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that Deputies have arrested 36-year-old Frank Rodrigues of Squaw Valley and 46-year-old Jessica Leon of Sanger. Rodrigues is facing felony charges of home invasion robbery and grand theft. His bail is $415,000. Leon is charged with a felony for being an accessory to a crime. She was let out of jail the same day she was booked in due to her charge being eligible for zero-dollar bail. She has since failed to appear in court and now has a warrant out for her arrest.
On April 26, 2024, sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a home invasion robbery near High Oaks and Butternut Lanes in Squaw Valley. Deputies learned the victim, a U.S. military veteran, was asleep in his bed when he was awoken by two people tying him up. The suspects then stole numerous items from his home and left. The victim was left tied up with no way to call for help until he freed himself hours later.
Detectives developed information that led to Frank Rodrigues and Jessica Leon being identified as the suspects. Detectives arrested Leon on November 29, 2024.
Rodrigues had fled California and was hiding out in an area near Seattle, WA. The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force was contacted and they captured Rodrigues in Washington. He was transported back to Fresno and booked into jail on December 14, 2024.
These arrests were made due to the great teamwork of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, Fresno County District Attorney's Office and U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
