TCSO Deputies Arrest Man for Illegally Discharging Laser 

January 5, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Friday night, around 8:30 p.m., the TCSO arial unit plane was flying near the 1200 block of East Lakeview Avenue, in Woodlake when they received several laser strikes from a high-power blue laser. 

They were able to guide Deputies to the location the laser was being emitted from, and a total of 9 laser strikes were observed. 

When Deputies arrived, there were multiple uncooperative subjects in the backyard of the residence where a blue laser was located.

After investigating, Deputies identified 29-year-old Jeronimo Garcia was the person wielding the laser. Garcia was taken into custody for illegally discharging a laser, and multiple active warrants.
