Man Found Deceased in Trailer Park 

January 7, 2025 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on January 4, 2025, at about 1:30 p.m. deputies responded to a report of a deceased person located at a trailer park in the 700 block of River Road in Ceres. When law enforcement arrived on scene, they located a deceased adult male in one of the trailers. Due to the circumstances of the incident, detectives with the Major Crimes Unit (MCU) responded to the scene and took over the investigation. The cause of death has been determined to be a homicide, and detectives are still processing evidence and conducting interviews. The identity of the victim has not yet been confirmed, but the victim is believed to be a white adult male in his 70’s.
