January 8, 2025 - U.S. Forest Service officials announce offices will be closed January 9th, 2025 for a Federal Holiday in observance of the death of Former President Jimmy Carter.

National Park Service officials report National parks and visitor services will generally be open and available on January 9, 2025, but administrative offices will be closed.

Visitors should check individual park websites prior to their visit for the most up-to-date information.
