One-Way Traffic Control on State Routes 120 & 49 
January 26 - February 1, 2025 

January 24, 2025 – TUOLUMNE COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct one-way traffic controls on State Route 120 (SR-120) and State Route 49 (SR49) next week. Work is scheduled as follows: 

State Route 120 

  • One-way traffic control at the Tuolumne River bridge between Chinese Camp and Moccasin for bridge work beginning Monday, January 27 through Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. 

State Route 49 

  • One-way traffic control at the New Melones Reservoir Bridge for bridge work beginning Tuesday, January 28, through Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. 
  • One-way traffic control between Rawhide Road and Sapphire Ridge Road for utility work on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, equipment/materials availability, and construction-related issues.
