January 25, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that Ag Detectives arrested 46-year-old Israel Barraza of Earlimart and Wasco for grand theft of copper and possession of stolen property.

After a weeks long investigation following multiple reports of copper wire theft, primarily from farm irrigation pumps in the southern part of the County, resulting in tens of thousands of dollars in damages in each case.
