January 29, 2025 – Fresno County District Attorney’s Office officials report that they filed charges Tuesday against Antwoine Mancia (43, of Sanger) and Amicho Mancia (37, of Fresno) for their involvement in the home invasion robbery, assault on a peace officer and other felony charges from this past Sunday.

FCSO invasion
It is alleged that on January 26, 2025, Antwoine and Amicho Mancia and one additional perpetrator broke into the victim’s home, while armed with a gun, and removed a large safe and loaded it into their car. Fresno Police Department officers arrived on the scene and observed the driver entering the parked car and ordered him to stop. The driver, Amicho, ignored the order and drove the car toward the officer who fired several rounds defending himself and trying to stop the suspects. Antwoine and Amicho were able to flee the immediate location.

The car was observed driving onto Fresno State’s campus with multiple police cars in pursuit. Officers were able to act quickly to stop the car with the use of their patrol vehicles. The driver, Amicho, fled from the car and was running further into the campus area when a police canine was released and was able to subdue him. Amicho, who was wearing a bullet proof vest, was then placed into custody. The other suspect, Antwoine, was placed into custody without incident. The two officers responding to the call suffered minor injuries.
