Caltrans traffic advisoryTRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control for February 2-8, 2025 

February 1, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures this week on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows: 

STATE ROUTE 49 

  • One-way traffic control from Agua Fria Road to Whitlock Road for utility work on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

STATE ROUTE 140 

  • One-way traffic control from the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for fence work beginning Sunday, February 2, through Friday, February 7, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. 

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
