February 8, 2025 – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces next Tuesday, February 11th,
the traffic signals on Avenue 12, at State Route 99, will be flashing red during the day from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Crews will be re-wiring the intersection as work on Cottonwood Creek project continues.
The following will occur:
- Both signals, from northbound and southbound State Route 99, at Avenue 12 will be flashing.
- The signal at Avenue 12 and Road 29, east of State Route 99, will also be flashing.
- The signal at Avenue 12 and Green Court and Golden State Boulevard, west of State 99, will also be flashing.
- The flashing signals are scheduled to happen from 8:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
- Drivers can expect delays during this time.
This is necessary, as the Cottonwood Creek project continues to progress.
The time frame of the flashing light may be extended, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.
Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones. Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
