February 8, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on February 5, 2025, the Southwest District Safety Team conducted a traffic stop at Price Avenue and Clinton Avenue for a vehicle code violation. Officers observed a satchel near the driver’s seat. 

The driver admitted to having a firearm inside the bag. Officers had the driver step out of the vehicle and located a loaded, unregistered, privately manufactured firearm within the satchel. The driver was arrested for firearm related charges, cited for the vehicle code violation, and was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
