Shooting Incident Under Investigation in Stanislaus County 

February 26, 2025 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025, at about 3:30 a.m., Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the report of a shooting at the intersection of West Taylor Road and the Highway 99 offramp.

When deputies arrived, they located a Hispanic male adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. He’s listed in stable but critical condition.

The Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit was notified and assumed control of the investigation. As of the time of this release, the suspect has not been identified and this investigation is active and ongoing. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
