Fatal Solo-Vehicle Crash Under Investigation 

February 26, 2025 – Modesto, CA – Modesto Police Department officials report that on Monday, February 24, 2025, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Modesto Police Department patrol units responded to a solo-vehicle collision in the 1000 block of River Road. The crash involved a white vehicle that had struck a tree.

Upon arrival, officers located the adult female driver unresponsive. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Modesto Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit.
