Portable Heater Safety Tip 

March 3, 2025 – CAL FIRE officials issue safety announcement on space heaters.

Space heaters are a leading cause of home heating fires! Always turn off and unplug portable heaters before leaving the room or going to bed. Nearly half of all home heating fire deaths happen overnight while people are sleeping, according to the (tag) National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
