TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Control & Long-Term Full Closure for March 23-29, 2025
March 22, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures this week on State Route 140 (SR-140) for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
• One-way traffic control at Country Road for utility work on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
• Long-term full closure from Briceburg to Cranberry Gulch for slide removal work began Monday, March 17, 2025, at 10:00 p.m.
Caltrans Traffic Advisory for Mariposa County: Long-Term Full Closure of Hwy. 140 into Yosemite as Caltrans Begins Rockslide Removal Work
• One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
