Homicide Investigation
March 28, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at approximately 5:23 a.m. (0523 a.m.), EMS responded to a medical emergency at Hedges Avenue near Peach Avenue. The 9-1-1 caller reported that a woman was in medical distress. Despite life-saving efforts, 32-year-old Kristina Meza was pronounced deceased at Community Regional Medical Center.
Homicide detectives identified 42-year-old Timothy Goodloe as the suspect responsible for Meza's murder. On Monday, March 24, 2025, detectives served a search warrant near North Peach Avenue and Olive Avenue. Goodloe was taken into custody during the search warrant and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
Goodloe has been charged with murder, along with additional special circumstances.
