Coroner’s Office Seeks Help Finding Family of Man Struck by Vehicle 

April 2, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on the night of March 25th, 2025, a vehicle fatally struck 46-year-old Oscar Alcoser (pictured) while he was in the roadway near W. Adams Ave. and N. 8th Street in Fowler. He also goes by the name of Jorge Vasquez and is a resident of Selma.

He is described as being 5’3”, 150 lbs. 

Staff at the Fresno County Sheriff - Coroner’s Office have searched numerous personal records, but their attempts to find his relatives have been unsuccessful. Locating immediate family members is a necessary process in order for the Coroner’s Unit to release the body and allow the person to have a proper burial.
