April 4, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that detectives are asking for the public’s help to find the suspect, 43-year-old Kenneth Bratton.

Around 10:30 a.m. on March 3, 2025, TCSO Deputies were serving an eviction notice at a home in the 600 Block of West Mulberry in Porterville, when they learned one of the men living at the home had a warrant out for his arrest.

Deputies attempted to take the man into custody for his warrant, and a struggle broke out. During the fight, the suspect pulled out a gun and fired.

Luckily no one was hurt. The suspect was able to get away and Deputies are currently searching the area for him.
