Detectives Working to Identify Attempted Carjacking Suspects 

April 8, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that shortly before midnight on Friday, March 21, 2025, a disturbance was reported at the EZ Trip gas station located at 6639 N. Parkway Ave. in Fresno.

The suspects arrived in a gray Honda Accord (model year 2013-2017).  A man in a black Nike sweatshirt got out of the car and entered the store.  Meanwhile, his passenger who was not wearing a shirt, approached a customer who was parked at a nearby gas pump.

The shirtless man got into the customer’s vehicle and attempted to take it.  However, the keys were not in the vehicle, so he was unable to start it.  The suspect then got out of the vehicle and got back into the Honda with the other suspect and they drove away.
