April 8, 2025 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Wible Road for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival deputies located 2 adult female victims of a shooting, one deceased on scene and one transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 

Homicide detectives responded to the scene to assume the investigation.
