Madera County Sheriff’s Deputy Makes Legen-Dairy Arrest Following Newborn Calf Theft
April 17, 2025 – Madera County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on April 16, 2025, Madera County Sheriff’s Deputy J. Wood was dispatched to the 19000 Block of Road 1 in the County of Madera for a report of a theft of three newborn black calves. Deputy Wood identified the suspect, and MCSO Detectives were able to locate and arrest Efrain Gonzalez Servin (39) from Merced.
The three calves were recovered and returned to their owner. Gonzalez Servin was transported to the Madera County Jail and booked on felony charges of Grand Theft.
