April 30, 2025 – Mariposa County Sheriff's Office officials announce that they welcomed new members to the sheriff’s office on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. 

Today, we proudly welcomed 10 new members to our Sheriff's Office family. It was a surreal and special moment as each of them raised their right hand and took the oath to serve and protect the people who live in and visit our incredible county. 

Please join us in welcoming: 911 Dispatchers Megan Kroon & Kylie Cogley, Civil Clerk Emma Briese, Animal Control Officers Layla Davidson & Angela Fisher, Custodial Deputies Jaclyn Bathurst and Nicole Greninger, Reserve Deputy Brandon Hatcher and Patrol Deputies Kiona Mari and Nathanial Wallace. Every role is vital to the safety, service, and strength of our community. 

Whether they're answering emergency calls, protecting public spaces, working with the public, caring for animals, or patrolling our roads, these individuals have stepped up with integrity and heart. We are honored to have them on our team and even more honored to serve alongside them as part of our family.
