May 6, 2025 – Turlock Police Department officials issue an update on the missing person investigation involving Kelsy Ramos.
It is with deep sadness that we share an update in the missing person investigation involving Kelsy Ramos.
Turlock Police Department detectives had been actively working this case and thoroughly following up on the many tips received 
online. We appreciate the public’s engagement and want to thank everyone who took the time to share information.
Earlier on Monday, we were contacted by the Selma Police Department, who were investigating a call involving a deceased person. The individual matched the description of our missing person. Turlock detectives traveled to Selma and confirmed the identity of Kelsy Ramos. Kelsy’s family has been notified.
Turlock detectives worked closely with investigators from the Selma Police Department, and together they determined there was no indication of foul play at the scene. The Selma Police Department will continue leading the death investigation, and the official cause of death will be determined pending coroner and toxicology reports.
