Armed Carjacking in Poplar 

May 15, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that just before 12:30 a.m. on May 14, 2025, TCSO Deputies were called to the 14600 Block of Road 190 in Poplar for an armed carjacking.

When Deputies arrived, they learned the victim was approached by two suspects wearing all black and ski masks. Both suspects were armed and demanded the victim’s car. They then drove off in the suspect’s silver sedan.

Luckily, no one was hurt.
