May 22, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that southwest officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation in the area of Belmont Avenue and Parkway Drive. Officers contacted the driver who was found to be on probation for a prior weapons conviction.

During a search of the vehicle, officers located a firearm concealed nearby the driver. The driver was cited for the original traffic violation and arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail for firearm offenses, including being a felon in possession of a firearm.
