Information Wanted
May 31, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that Homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office need assistance in locating 28-year-old Cody Robert Plasencia (pictured below) related to an FSO Homicide investigation from 2017. Detectives recently received new information related to this case and are actively following up on leads. Cody is NOT a suspect in the case; however, detectives need to speak with Cody. On Sunday, January 29, 2017, at about 9:40 a.m., Huron Police officers were dispatched to 16735 14th Street, City of Huron, regarding a drive-by shooting. Upon arrival, officers located 68-year-old Francisco Acosta inside the living room suffering from a gunshot wound. Acosta died at the scene.
