June 10, 2025 – Join Progressive Mariposa/Yosemite Area Indivisible on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Mariposa Arts Park, 5009 Highway 140 to celebrate democracy, diversity, and inclusion and reject authoritarianism. Other rallies are being hosted by Indivisible groups in Oakhurst, Merced, Fresno, Modesto, and Sonora. (See information on other area rallies here & in the U.S. here.)
On No Kings / Flag Day 2025 we seek to uplift the ideals of Freedom, Anti-tyranny, and Democracy that the United States flag represents. We also recognize that to many of the diverse communities that make up the richness of our democracy, the Flag instead represents violence, oppression, and pain, especially for the Indigenous Peoples whose land this nation occupies and the stolen African brothers and sisters who built it. We invite all our neighbors who reside here on unceded Ahwahnechee / Miwok territory to join us as we fight to build a better United States, for all of us.
We're standing together against the abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption. On Saturday, June 14, we gather to remind Trump and his enablers: America has No King!
