Inmate Found Unresponsive in Cell 

June 13, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that just after 6:00 p.m. on June 11, 2025, TCSO Correctional Deputies were doing a regularly scheduled safety check at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.

During that time, Deputies found a 59-year-old male inmate unresponsive inside his cell. Emergency Medical Services were administered to the inmate, and he was taken to a local hospital for further treatment. Unfortunately, he later passed at the hospital. All indications to this point lead Detectives to believe he suffered a major medical emergency, which led to his death. An autopsy is pending as well as notification to next of kin.
