June 14, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that Homicide detectives are searching for information on a vehicle involved in the 2020 murder of Rosendo Herrera in San Joaquin. The video below shows a SUV traveling through the area where Herrera’s body was later found. Please take a close look at the vehicle. Contact detectives immediately if you recognize it or you know who owns it.

It was shortly after midnight on October 8, 2020, Fresno County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers received a call from a homeowner who stated there was an injured man in front of their house located on the 9000 block of Donna Street in San Joaquin. Deputies arrived and found the man, later identified as Rosendo Herrera, to be suffering from gunshot wounds. Deputies provided first aid until EMS personnel arrived and took over medical attention. Herrera died a short time later.
