UPDATE: TCSO Detectives Arrest One for Dinuba Shooting 

June 17, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that just after 5:30 p.m. on June 13, 2025, TCSO Deputies were called to the Country Market at 38408 on Road 80 near Dinuba for a shooting victim. When they arrived, Deputies learned the victim was pistol-whipped and then shot in the left leg. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, 23-year-old Gilberto Lopez Mendez, was later found and taken into custody. The gun, which was converted to be a fully automatic and large capacity magazine, was also found.
