Body Recovered at Lower Lake Clementine
July 7, 2025 – Placer County Sheriff's Office officials report that at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, members of the Placer County Dive Team recovered a body believed to be that of a 75-year-old man who was reported missing early this morning. The man had reportedly been out on the water all day Saturday, July 5. His boat was later found at the marina near the Lower Lake Clementine Boat Ramp, along with his truck and keys.
Based on the evidence, it was determined he likely entered the water and may have drowned. Dive team members initiated a slow and methodical search this morning and ultimately located a body believed to be the missing individual.
We recognize this is a heartbreaking outcome and extend our deepest condolences to the man’s family and friends during this difficult time.
