July 9, 2025 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announce that they are still accepting applications for the woodsmoke reduction program.

We are excited to announce that we are still accepting applications for the Woodsmoke Reduction Program!

This program is voluntary and offered by our Energy Assistance Program, the program is designed to help households replace uncertified wood-burning stoves, fireplace inserts or fireplaces used as a primary source of heat with a cleaner burning and more efficient heating device. The program offers vouchers toward the purchase and installation of a propane, electric or EPA-certified wood burning heating device.
