July 10, 2025 – Madera CHP officials report that on July 8, 2025, at around 10:00 p.m., this 2018 Range Rover was located abandoned inside an irrigation canal, in the area of Avenue 21 1/2, west of Road 18. The driver? Nowhere in sight.

Summer is here and the local irrigation canals are flowing. They are not for swimming or driving your vehicles into the water.
