Solo Vehicle Rollover SR-41 at Road 416 

July 13, 2025 – Oakhurst CHP officials report that at approximately 12:50 P.M., a 19-year-old male from Coarsegold was involved in a solo vehicle rollover at the intersection of SR-41 and Road 416. The driver was headed southbound on SR-41 and attempted a right turn onto Road 416. Unfortunately, his speed was too high to safely navigate the turn, and the vehicle rolled onto the shoulder.

Thankfully, the driver was not injured.

This is an important reminder for our young and newly licensed drivers: experience behind the wheel takes time. Even routine maneuvers like turning can become dangerous when speed isn’t adjusted appropriately.

Slow down before curves or turns.

Look ahead and plan your moves early.

Good judgment is built over time, drive like your life depends on it.
