August 4, 2025 - SEQUOIA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS, Calif. – Businesses can now apply for a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) for select activities within designated wilderness areas of the parks, including stock and non-stock services, such as guided hiking, backpacking, fishing, and more. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. PST on Sept. 30, 2025. Approved CUAs will be valid for a two-year term, from Jan. 1, 2026, to Dec. 31, 2027.  
 
All interested parties are encouraged to submit an application through the online CUA system at www.nps.gov/subjects/cua/applying-for-a-cua.htm. The solicitation for CUAs is also advertised on SAM.gov.
