Missing Person Investigation – Ongoing Search for Bradley “Jay” Prestigiacomo 

August 7, 2025 – Plumas County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 4, 2025, the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a voluntary missing adult, Bradley “Jay” Prestigiacomo, also known as Bradley Pierson. Bradley is 41 years old and was last seen leaving a residence in Quincy around 2:30 a.m. on August 3, 2025.

On August 5, 2025, U.S. Forest Service employees located Bradley’s vehicle on a remote forest road between Claremont Peak and Thompson Creek, south of Quincy. Deputies and Investigators from PCSO responded to the area, along with additional USFS personnel. An initial ground search was conducted, and a drone was deployed to scan the area, but Bradley was not located.

@plumassar was activated and conducted an initial search. On Wednesday, SAR personnel returned to the area, and we have requested mutual aid from specialized search dog teams to assist in the ongoing effort.

The search for Bradley is active and ongoing. If you have any information regarding Bradley’s whereabouts or may have seen anything in the area, please contact the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 283-6300.
