Critical Incident Video Release of Officer Involved Shooting on June 1, 2025 

August 9, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on the evening of Wednesday, June 1, 2025, a Fresno Police Department officer assigned to the Patrol Division was involved in an officer involved shooting.

The Fresno Police Department has created a Critical Incident Video, which includes body worn camera footage and security camera video.

The investigation into this critical incident is ongoing. There will be no additional comments made beyond the release of this video.

This critical incident is being fully investigated, and the findings will be handed over to the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office, Internal Affairs and the Office of Independent Review.
