August 12, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that they would like to thank Assistance League-Fresno for its latest donation of 500 trauma bears.

Our staff members on patrol, in the courts and at the jail hand these teddy bears out to children during difficult times and it makes a world of difference in comforting them.

The high school students who make up the Assisteens ® of Fresno having been partnering with our office on this program since 1997. We appreciate everyone who volunteers their time to make this project happen and we are lucky to have you in our community.
