August 25, 2025 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 18, 2025, at approximately 2:00 P.M., deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Kern Valley Substation executed a search warrant in the 7000 block of Wofford Boulevard as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal gambling operations.

During the search, deputies located and seized an illegal “fish table” gaming machine, which is commonly associated with unlicensed gambling activity. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests were made at the time of the search.
