August 25, 2025 – Mariposa County Library announces that they are excited to share an incredible resource.

Our Every Child Ready to Read program is BACK at El Portal Branch! The next session, which is held in El Portal will take place on Saturday, September 6 and lasts for an hour from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

This session is free to attend and is aimed at giving parents/guardians tools to help their young children, ages 0-5, on their path to literacy. Learn simple practices, based on research, to help develop early literacy skills. This is taught by local educator Celeste Freeman.
