August 28, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that the Southeast DST officers conducted a probation compliance check at a residence in the area of Pontiac Way and Minnewawa Avenue. Upon arriving, they initially received resistance at the door but eventually a male resident exited the home.

Officers entered the home and began a safety sweep of the residence prior to a search, where they found a fully operating casino in the living room. While clearing the backyard they contacted a female as she exited a backyard shed.

After she was detained, officers did a safety sweep of the shed and saw in plain view a shotgun mounted to the wall. While clearing the rest of the backyard and inside another shed, officers found what they immediately recognized to be a narcotics lab.

DST officers advised the Major Narcotics Unit who responded with the DOJ High Impact Investigations Team (HIIT). A search warrant was obtained where it was determined that two separate narcotics labs were in the home. One was a BHO (Butane Hash Oil) lab, and the other was a DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) lab.

Once both labs were secured, Southeast DST conducted a search of the home and in total they located a large amount of ammunition of multiple calibers, a total of five firearms, multiple high-capacity magazines, four fully functioning slot machines, and a 3-D printer.

The hazardous material disposal team took possession of the lab materials. A male and female on scene were arrested; an additional male was arrested during the follow-up investigation. All were booked into Fresno County jail on a variety of narcotics and firearms charges.

While arrests have been made in this case, if you have any additional information, please contact Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP (7867)
